How can I call when I'm abroad?

Check if there is roaming coverage in the country you are travelling to and if your smartphone is compatible with the technologies of the operators of that country. Also verify the prefix you'll have to dial to call Italy from abroad. 

Make sure that the roaming service is active at the time of you leaving. The service activation depends on the plan chosen for your SIM card at the time of the subscription. 

To check it contact your company contact, or log in to the Business Clients' Area or call 1928.

If you are travelling to a UE country and have no subscription nor to a UE valid option nor to a tariff plan including the abroad options, the new conditions of the european normative will be applied. 

How to call:
dial the telephone number with the national prefix both for the local calls and international calls
Before calling a landline number, dial a 0 before the national prefix.

If you are in Paris and want to call a Paris number dial: +33 (french prefix) 01 (Paris prefix) XXXXXXXX.
If you are in Paris and want to call a number in Rome dial: +39 (italian prefix) 06 (Rome prefix) XXXXXXXX
If you are in Paris and want to call a mobile Wind number +39 32X XXX XXX

How to send or receive texts
You can send and receive texts as if you were in Italy by dialing the international formal number (for example for Italy: +39 329 1234567).
