Make sure that the International Roaming option is active at the moment of your trip.
All the plans have the International Roaming traffic enabled authomatically. The activation time of the service depends on the payment method chsen:

Debit on your credit card: the service will be enabled immediately
Debit on your bank account: the service is free of charge and the roaming is enabled after the first payment
