How can I use the Internet when I'm Abroad?
How to use the internet:
check that the data service is available in the country you are travelling to. If you still have no connection, verify that the APN wind internet is set up correctly.
How to select a specif telephone operator:
to select an operator different from the one your SIM card authomatically detected, use the manual line selection tool from your smartphone's menu; then choose the desired operator among those available.
* WINDTRE informs you that the UE regulation n. 531/2012 starting from 1/7/14 allows the user enabled to the international roaming system with WINDTRE to choose, without any additional costs and only for the international roaming services in the European Economic Area, a different telephone operator, if available.
Therefore when you are using the roaming in the UE, only for the data service, if available, you'll be able to choose and use the plans of a different operator. For more information, plands and needs, contact the Call Center of the abroad operator in charge of the data service in the foreign country.
In order to be able to use the different operator, you have to change the APN INTERNET and replace it with EUInternet; in order to use once again the WINDTRE offers, you just switch back to APN WINDTRE.
