WINDTRE BUSINESS Smart Assistance is a “premium” technical support service provided remotely for configuring and installing devices and applications, including those not supplied by WINDTRE.

For example:
configuring email accounts on smartphones/tablets, including Microsoft Exchange and also freeware such as Gmail, Yahoo, Libero etc.;
downloading and installing the most popular Apps such as Facebook, Linkedin, Dropbox ,YouTube etc. adjusting the settings on smartphones/tablets, e.g. setting up devices as wi-fi hotspots or deactivating data services;
configuring and adjusting the settings of company wi-fi or LAN lines with action on routers (ADSL);
checking PC performances to evaluate problems related to slow speeds. WINDTRE BUSINESS Smart Assistance is available free of charge to all Wind Business customers with at least 3 active SIMs and/or two landlines.
Business Smart Assistance is not available to customers with less than 2 active SIMs or WINDTRE single-landline customers. Please note that the standard technical assistance service designed to ensure the continuity and optimisation of the telephone/data connectivity service on land or mobile lines remains guaranteed and free of charge for all customers.
To ensure WINDTRE BUSINESS Smart Assistance is used correctly, the Customer must ensure they have wi-fi coverage or access to mobile data (HSDPA or 4G).
WINDTRE BUSINESS Smart Assistance is compatible with the following operating systems for mobile devices: Android OS 2.3 and later versions and iOS 6.0 and later versions. Smartphones with Windows Phone 7 and Windows Phone 8 operating systems cannot be managed. WINDTRE BUSINESS Smart Assistance is also supported by the following operating systems for PC: Windows 8.1, 8, 7, Vista, XP (SP3), Server 2003 & Server 2008 (all versions, including 64 bit); Windows 98, ME and 2000; and for Mac (Apple): Apple Macintosh OS X 10.9 (Mavericks), 10.10 (Yosemite), 10.4 (Tiger), 10.5 (Leopard), 10.6 (Snow Leopard), 10.7 (Lion) and 10.8 (Mountain Lion).
