Incentives for users affected by the seismic events of 2016

WindTre S.p.A. has always shown solidarity to the people that have had to face the earthquake that hit central Italy starting from August 24, 2016.
From the beginning, the company has guaranteed the normal functioning of its mobile (and fixed) networks, with a series of specific technical actions to guarantee service continuity in the affected regions; furthermore, it has taken up a series of solidarity actions in favor of the affected populations. In addition to what had been set up immediately after the severe events, WindTre S.p.A., in actuation of the Authority for Communications Guarantees’s Decision 235/17/CONS in terms of incentives for the populations affected by the seismic events of 2016, will implement further measures in support of its clients that have been affected by the seismic events of 2016.

If you are the owner of a company, regardless of the accessibility of the building, that is situated in one of the Municipalities in attachments 1, 2 and 2-bis of the Legislative decree 189/2016, with the exception of companies whose headquarters are located in Teramo, Rieti, Ascoli Piceno, Macerata, Fabriano and Spoleto, and you are a client owner of a WindTre fixed line or pre-paid or post-paid mobile line, you can submit a request, to the attention of WindTre S.p.A. - Casella Postale 14155 - Ufficio Postale Milano 65 - 20152 Milano, no later than October 29, 2017, written on your Company’s headed paper, by registered mail or ordinary mail, specifying the full address of the headquarters and/or local offices that you are signalling (street/municipality/zip code) and the date in which the seismic event occurred. The request must be accompanied by a valid ID and by a self-certification that attests that no similar request was filed to other telephony operators to benefit from one of the incentives stated below. The incentives can only be awarded for headquarters in one of the Municipalities stated above.
  • for fixed-line services: 50% discount on phone bills, starting from acceptance of your request for a period of 6 calendar months;
  • for postpaid mobile services: 50% discount on phone bills, starting from the elaboration of your request for a period of 6 calendar months;
  • for prepaid mobile services: 50% discount on phone bills, starting from acceptance of your request for a period of 6 calendar months;
  • in case of prepaid and postpaid mobile services,a bonus of 1 gigabyte of extra data will also be granted, at the time of the periodical renewals of the thresholds included in your offer, when compatible with the offer itself, starting from acceptance of your request for a period of 6 calendar months.
